How the series are structured

Everything published here runs in self-contained arcs of ten to twelve episodes. An arc can be read on its own, so there is no wrong place to start, and no requirement to catch up on years of backlog before beginning.

On the source material

We adapt folklore. We do not adapt scripture, and we do not depict the sacred figures of any living faith. That line is deliberate and it will not move.

Folklore is the richer seam anyway — less told, better monsters, and no canonical version anyone can accuse you of getting wrong.
